BACK TO SCHOOL WITH A NEW SENSE OF ARRIVAL

“The School is able to boast another good intake this semester with particularly strong numbers in returning students,” said Principal/CEO Mr Guy Bentley as the Spring Semester commenced with “O” week on Monday 24 July.

With nearly all the finishing touches completed to Stage 2 of the major renovations, returning and new students were welcomed to a transformed campus. The final stages of the renovation see the completion of a new Blue Mountains Hotel School entrance off Fitzroy street with a driveway, turning circle and VIP guest parking, a new Board Room, lobby area and guest lounge, new reception and porters desks, a new Front Office and Rooms Division Manager office. The guest lounge and Board Room are fitted out with large flat screen TVs and the lobby area with two wall-mounted monitors for messages and daily bulletins.

“These new developments see the culmination of the refurbishment program and the creation of a stylish, hotel lobby entrance to the school with a real sense of arrival,” says Mr Bentley. The completion of the bar area, the large wine display case and the addition of elegant new chairs in the Chambers fine dining room as well as modern funky light fittings, artwork and outdoor furniture and umbrellas for the café give these venues a chic appeal that is quickly proving popular with students, staff and guests.
